The oil-paintings

All these paintings were created by me starting from 2018. Some of them inspired by Yafayeta, some of them by other themes.

These paintings are not only something to stare at but mostly food for the mighty brain and soul. They are made to challenge you considering life, thoughts and powerful dogma’s.

They are all part of the private collection.

The man in the mirror

Where are they? The answer to that so called Fermi Paradox could be me, or you. Inspired by Kubrick’s movie 2001, a Space Odyssey.

Endless sight

The sight will be endless into the nothing. Just turn around. Inspired by Aronofsky’s movie “Requiem for a Dream”.

Greece

The infinite beauty of the Greek Mediterranean. This is a replica.

Garland’s fear

Windom: What’s your biggest fear, Garland? “..The fear that love is not enough..”

The words you speak

Become the house you live in. Inspired by the poems of Hafez.

Rural

A non-existing but typical landscape of the region I grew up.

Wadden sea

Wadden sea at sunset.

Klaus

This is a painting of someone who didn’t exist. Let’s call him Klaus because no-one expected that name while guessing the man’s name.

Heaven

This painting is inspired by the Contact movie-scène where Jodie Foster meets an avatar of her beloved dad. It implicates a multi-reality based on your own imagination. It is so beautiful and breath-taking: this must be heaven.

Desolate

An impression of the grayness of the communist housing blocks, built in Eastern Europe mid 20th century.

The lady

The lady on the pool side, drinking her Mojito. Made from a holiday photo.
